Happy 99是筆者了解香港動物福祉機構的經歷中, 至今對它的身世仍舊一直存疑的團體。從下圖的善款收集箱所知, 除了它的電郵帳戶外, Happy 99是一個收容被遺棄狗隻並安排領養的動物福利團體。 不過, 根據部份本地網上討論區的說法, 這個團體因為義工處事態度惡劣、和部份動物繁殖場關係密切, 甚至於和獸醫診所間出現金錢糾紛而聲名狼藉。

But according to some local internet forums, “Happy 99″ has become infamous among the pet lovers due to the bad attitude of its volunteers, close relationship with some pet breeders and monetary conflict between them and some private veterinary clinics.

從最近的一次的網上搜尋中發現Happy 99的Facebook社團, 根據它及其友好政客提供的有限資料, 知道它大概在2010年成立, 曾在元朗建立收容中心, 但在2016年遭拆遷; 它的成立目標是幫助被殘虐或遺棄的動物尋找領養者, 協助有需要之狗場或動物福利組織, 以及舉辦各項寵物活動。
I’ve found the Facebook group of Happy99 recently. With limited information from the Facebook group and some politicians supporting them, Happy99 is established in 2010 and established their own kennel in Yuen Long, which is later disassembled around 2016. The mission of Happy99 is to help the abandoned or abused animals finding new adopters, helping animal welfare groups or kennels in needed, and conducting pets related activities.
